WHO research shows COVID vaccines still crucial in preventing severe illness

Research shows that even those who are fully vaccinated can still contract COVID-19. However, these individuals are highly unlikely to experience severe illness or death as a result of the virus. According to the CDC, unvaccinated Americans account for more than 97% of COVID-related hospitalizations and deaths. As long as we continue to battle variants like Delta, it is crucial that we get vaccinated against the virus.
