Trump says will sign order aimed at cutting US drug prices

President Donald Trump's latest attempt to lower prescription drug prices in the United States includes a new executive order aiming to cut costs by up to 80 percent, as announced on Twitter.
This is not his first go at this. In 2017, he also proposed a similar solution but it fell flat due to industry opposition. Last month Trump signed an order that allowed states more leeway in price negotiation and aimed to lower prices by $100 billion annually.
