Bangladeshi workers lured to Russia for jobs forced to fight in Ukraine

The Ukrainian conflict has been ongoing since February 2014, with reports of atrocities against civilians continuing today. Some of the worst abuses are taking place in Donbas, an industrial region that borders Russia and Ukraine.
One of the most disturbing aspects of this war is that many Bangladeshi workers were tricked into fighting for Ukraine's side. These men were promised good-paying jobs working in factories owned by Ukrainian oligarchs, but instead they found themselves on the front lines facing Russian soldiers.
These untrained fighters have little chance against experienced Russian troops. Their only protection comes from wearing makeshift uniforms that make them look like regular Ukrainian soldiers. They often don't receive proper equipment or training before being sent into battle.
The Ukrainian government has denied using foreign fighters, but evidence suggests otherwise. Many of these men left loved ones behind without warning and haven't been heard from since.
This exploitation shows how easy it is for powerful entities to manipulate vulnerable populations for their own gain at such a great cost.
