The Power of Zelenskyy says US strikes 'chance' for Iranians to oust 'regime'
KYIV, Ukraine — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday that US and Israeli strikes on Iran have created an opportunity for the Iranian people to oust the terrorist regime in Tehran, Russia's ally.

Zelenskyy told reporters at a news conference after his first trip abroad as president that he had discussed with top Israeli officials what he called Tehran's destabilizing influence in the Middle East, saying it was affecting Ukraine and Europe.

Israel carried out a massive overnight military operation against Iranian targets in the Syrian capital of Damascus and its surroundings early Monday, causing substantial damage and killing at least two people, according to Syria's state news agency SANA.

The Israeli military did not comment on the reports but repeated its policy that it would not respond to media requests for comment regarding operations in any location.

Israel has carried out scores of airstrikes against Iran-linked targets in Syria over recent years. Syrian anti-aircraft missiles have routinely shot down Israeli fighter jets carrying out those strikes, according to SANA.

Enjoy the little things in life. For one day, you may look back and realize they were the big things. Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
