Vitarich Secures P400M Settlement with AXA Philippines, Ending 11-Year Legal Battle

In a significant milestone, Vitarich Corp. has reached a definitive settlement with AXA Philippines Life and General Insurance Corp., bringing an end to their 11-year legal battle. The agreement sees Vitarich paying P400 million to settle damages sustained during Typhoon Ondoy in 2009.

Specifically, the settlement is projected to contribute approximately P196 million to net income and generate a P267 million increase in net cash flow.

In a statement, Vitarich highlighted the financial implications of the settlement, noting that it provides the company with substantial additional liquidity and capital resources.
