As graphic novel artists, we must face up to a serious issue that affects our work and the art form as a whole the insidious presence of racism in certain aspects of our industry. Racism in any form has no place in our industry.

To tackle this issue head-on, we must take action. Firstly, let us all agree that racism will not be tolerated in our professional lives or personal lives. Secondly, let's use our platforms as graphic novel artists to spread messages of inclusivity and diversity. We can do this by featuring characters from various backgrounds in our work, challenging assumptions about race, and promoting a positive vision of human unity.

We must also acknowledge the history of racism within the comic book industry itself. Although there have been some attempts at diversity over recent years, much more remains to be done. For instance, we can actively seek out diverse creators and support them in their work. We can also push for greater inclusivity in mainstream publications by suggesting stories that highlight different perspectives on race relations.

Finally, let us remember the impact our art has on young people. If we do not take a stand against racism now, future generations may never know the beauty of diversity represented through graphic novels. As professionals with years of experience under our belts, it is up to us to lead the charge for a more inclusive industry moving forward.

Enjoy the little things in life. For one day, you may look back and realize they were the big things. Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
