Malacañan Palace Concert A Serenade for OFWs' Triumphs and Trials

In the absence of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who is attending the funeral of Pope Francis, a special concert will be held at Malacañan Palace's Kalayaan Grounds this Sunday to honor our country's unsung heroes – overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families.

The Office of the President, in partnership with Radio TV Malacañan and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), is proud to present the 6th Konsyerto sa Palasyo, a celebration of the inspiring stories of triumph and trials of OFWs. This event aims to foster national pride for the Filipino nation's excellence on the global stage.

This year's concert features an impressive lineup of talented artists, including Original Human Saxophone of the Philippines Chito Ricafrente, World Championship of Performing Arts Gold Medalist Rap Cañedo, singer Marielle Montellano, Reuben Laurente from The Company, dancer Winchester Lopez, and dance group Primedance Manila. These performers will come together to create a memorable night of music, dance, and celebration that will leave you feeling proud to be Filipino.

The Konsyerto sa Palasyo is more than just an entertainment event – it's a testament to the resilience and dedication of our OFWs who have made significant contributions to their host countries while staying true to their Filipino roots. The concert also provides an opportunity for us to come together as a nation and acknowledge the sacrifices and achievements of these modern-day heroes.

Join us this Sunday at Malacañan Palace's Kalayaan Grounds as we pay tribute to our OFWs' triumphs and trials through music, dance, and inspiring stories. It promises to be an unforgettable night that will leave you feeling proud to be Filipino!

Enjoy the little things in life. For one day, you may look back and realize they were the big things. Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
