Iran dismisses Trump's claims of missile program as 'big lies'

Iran on Wednesday dismissed U.S. President Donald Trump's claims that Tehran was in violation of its nuclear deal with world powers as big lies, signaling no immediate plans to back away from the 2015 agreement.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi said Trump had made the same accusations during his campaign for president but didn't know anything about Iran and didn't have any knowledge on this issue.
Ghasemi was quoted by the semi-official news agency Fars as saying that since taking office, Trump has been receiving briefings from U.S. intelligence experts on the nuclear deal.
He is now repeating the same words he heard from them, which are all big lies, Ghasemi said.
